Attorney & Paralegal on file receive notification when Trust funds have been paid/received from client. When we ask for a retainer, the ball is in the client's court. Once they pay, the ball is in our court; however, we have no idea that the ball is in our court. Currently, a client notifies us. But, most of the times, we are unaware until a client reaches out to us after a month that they have paid asking why we haven't worked in the matter. Have a notification sent to Attorney/Paralegal that trust funds have been received. OR in Attorney Productivity Dashboard, have a column for Matter Status (Open, Consultation, Hold, Closed).
