New Feature Requests

When I received an email about a new invoice ready to review, there is very little information in the email: "Invoice #12345, submitted by Bergen Finch" It would be helpful to see some information so that, based on the email, I can tell if it needs immediate attention or fixing. If it was something like: "Invoice #12345, for client Derek Johnson, in the amount of $1,500.00, submitted by Bergen Finch" Based on that information I can tell 1) whether the invoice amount is what I expect it to be; and 2) whether there are issues that need to be address: Is this an interest invoice being sent on a matter that shouldn't be accruing interest; is it an automatic invoice that is being generated on a flat fee or metlife matter; etc.

add an option for matters to be filtered by type of law for easier CSV export.

A summary breaking down billing user hours and rates on selected invoices and overall matter. We would need to include notes if any time is discounted. This would be attached to an invoice on the bottom. Ideally this would be opt-in rather than automatic on an invoice or matter. I have an example timekeeper summary that was manually generated (this is just a guideline).

if the firm wants better PNC tracking, the "did not retain" could be improved given the difference between (1) attorney rejecting the matter as not qualified vs. (2) client choosing not to retain the attorney.

Ability to rearrange invoice entries that are entered on the same day come invoice time. Sometimes they show up in a order that doesn't make any sense to the client and it would be nice to be able to rearrange them like we used to be able to do in Xero

Make all parts of a client's name searchable in Clever Case search. For example, it is very common in many cultures to have "multiple" last names or for parties in domestic matters to utilize their maiden names or "middle" names. It would be useful if it were possible to search all parts of a client's name.

When moving from one matter state to another, have a dropdown that has the most common reasons for moving. For example, when moving from 'consultation' to 'open' a reason of 'Fee agreement signed' be an option. When moving from 'open' to 'pending close' a reason of 'Case completed' be an option. When moving from 'pending close' to 'closed' a reason of 'trust refund sent' or 'balance paid off' be an option. The dropdown should allow the user to create a custom reason.

If time entries are unorganized, it allows a greater chance for user error. There is really NO good reason these should not be shown in order of time.

To be able to see information at a glance saves time. In this view, one has to click multiple times to be able to read a single time entry--it should show a large portion, if not all, of the time entry details for any given matter. This also applies to the main details page of a matter, but space may be an issue there.

As a user I would like to be able to filter in the Matters screen by Practice Area and Practice Area Sub Category.
