A quick 'Recent Matters' list under Matters (can also be hyperlink to Recent Matters in Dashboard, or a "see all" link there).

It's frustrating with only 5 viewable recent matters in Dashboard, most of the time, the matter I want to select is prob the 6-10 recent, so I have to look up the matter by matter ID or person. I think it would be beneficial to have a list where you can view all matters user was in (regardless if they are listed on the matter, or if the matter is closed). Its extra time/brainwork thinking of the person's name or finding a matter ID listed somewhere so you can search when you know if it was within the last 2 days, you can easily view all your matters you were "in/viewed" (regardless if edited) two days ago. The list can have a column for time stamp of when last viewed the matter (2 hrs ago, or 5 days ago or just by date) and also the stage of matter (consultation, open, closed)
